No egg easy peasy Spaghetti Carbonara

This is a no egg version of a family favourite. Serves 4.


1 onion, finely chopped

1 clove of garlic, finely chopped

6 rashers of smoked back bacon, chopped

2 tablespoons frozen peas

1 tablespoon of parsley, finely chopped

A pinch of black pepper

1 tablespoon of oil

500ml double cream

200g spaghetti


Add boiling water to a pan and cook spaghetti as per packet instructions

In another pan pour oil and heat

Add onion and garlic and stir on a low heat until turning light brown

Add bacon and stir until bacon is brown

Add cream and stir

Add parsley and seasoning

Keep on a low heat and stir occasionally

Once spaghetti is cooked combine the two pans and mix together well

Serve with garlic bread
